Organizations
Managing your organization in Springtail.
Overview
In Springtail, an organization encompasses all associated users and accounts. Within each organization, instances are organized into accounts, and each account is accessible by a designated group of users. The Organization Settings page allows you to manage users, accounts, and more.
Organization settings
To access settings for your organization:

Click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

From the dropdown, select Org Settings.
User management
Users in Springtail are individuals within your organization who have access to the Springtail console.
Adding users
To invite new users:

Go to the Organization Settings page.

Select the Users tab.

Click Invite Users.

Enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite. They will receive an email with instructions to log into the Springtail console.
Deleting users
To delete existing users:

Go to the Organization settings page.

Select the Users tab.

Click the ellipsis dropdown for the user you would like to delete.

Select Delete user. Confirm deletion in the following prompt.
Managing roles
By default, all invited users are given Member
roles. If a Member needs to modify organization settings, you can promote them to Admin
.
To manage user roles:

Go to the Organization settings page.

Select the Users tab.

Set the appropriate Org Role for each user.
Account management
Accounts in Springtail represent collections of instances managed by a specific set of users. From the Accounts tab, you can create, rename, or delete accounts.
Creating accounts

Go to the Organization settings page.

Select the Accounts tab.

Click the Add Account button. Complete the necessary details to create your new account.
Renaming accounts

Go to the Organization settings page.

Select the Accounts tab.

Click the ellipsis dropdown for the account you would like to rename.

Select Rename account. Enter a new account name in the following prompt.
Deleting accounts

Go to the Organization settings page.

Select the Accounts tab.

Click the ellipsis dropdown for the account you would like to delete.

Select Delete account. Confirm deletion in the following prompt.
Before you can delete an account, ensure that all instances within that account are deleted. Once no instances remain, you can delete the account.
